Dropped off my Hummer suv ev ffor a couple of recalls. I mentioned that I had the hummer at 85% charge the night before and this morning it was at zero percent charge. I turned it on and after a few minutes it started climbing in charge to 66%. The temperature was 25 degrees in my garage but -4 outside. The service dept kept it to check out the battery. I got to drive home a new 3X hummer as a loaner while they kept mine. The next day they called me to pick up my car. They charged it to 80% and reset the charge control ckt. I saw that it had climbed to 97% by that evening after it was unplugged. I was told that after resetting the charge control ckts. It was not unusual for that to happen. I'm keeping an eye on it to see if it happens again.

He did an excellent job listening to what my “wants” were and made me feel that he was going to bat for me to his managers. Myles and his managers continued to contact me appropriately. I appreciated the interaction via text as I can not always answer my phone. Myles was excellent at follow up and checking in. I too am in sales and I thought he and team kept contacting without being annoying. Picking up the car was quick. In the end we drop 2 hours to Ann Arbor vs a dealership in Grand Rapids. The total package for my lease came in just over what I “wanted” because Myles really worked for me. I am in love with my Buick Encore!

Had a very good experience.. I had stopped by the Ann Arbor dealership by chance, after having a very bad customer experience from another dealership. Dave came right out, was very knowledgeable and helpful. I really had no real intention of buying a vehicle that far away from my home, I live over an hour away and are surrounded by GM dealerships. But as compared different vehicles and talked to different salespeople, really no one impressed me as much as David. In this case, the salesperson sold the vehicle, not so much the vehicle selling itself. I own 3 insurance Agencies and two accounting firms, have 18 employees, 9 salespeople, if i had an office closer, Dave would be the first person I would try to hire away from someone. My advice is to keep that guy with your dealership and move him up the ladder, good employees are hard to find and harder to keep.

My Advisor Adam did not inform me prior to servicing my vehicle that they did not feel safe to test drive my vehicle due to tire wear. The mechanic just hooked my car up to the computer told me they “didn’t see any codes” and they charged me. I feel it was just to get money. Adam could have simply gave me a courtesy call to make me aware they were unable to completely do the whole service inspection. Not just decide to do a partial service that didn’t fix the problem but only required me to flush my money down the drain with no issues resolved . This was a horrible experience!

When I first arrived I was let in and I didn't have to wait. My Servant Consultant was Adam Blackwell which was so nice and funny. We figured out that my appointment wad next week. We had a good laugh and he was able to take me in. Along with the oil change I needed washer fluid and a new wiper blade for my back window. Not thinking about it until the next day I was looking at the paper work. The last page I received a GM Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection. Everything on that list states that my Windshield & Wipers got an inspection result of "OK." My husband was driving the car today, March 25th, and the back wiper blade was never fixed. Then how did the Inspection give it an "OK" on my report?!?!

Getting my new SUV was a pleasure at LaFontaine Buick GMC, in Ann Arbor. I wasn't sure what exactly I needed to have in the vehicle until I sat inside one, and it didn't have powered seat for the driver. Being extremely short, when I got the seat forward so I could reach the pedals, there was no room for me to reach the release on the seat to back it up slightly to be able to get out. Then the lift gate, I raised it easy enough, but was about 4 inches from reaching the tailgate hand hold to get it back down. No problem for Matthew Murphy, he told me will look for power seat and power tailgate.

Told me it would take 2 hours to service my vehicle and still kept my car for 6 hours. Not only that but it took 3 hours to get an appraisal after I explained that I was interested in trading it in. It took for me to show up to get the status of my car and get the appraisal (that all of a sudden only took 30 minutes to do once I showed up). This wasn’t a great experience, but, unfortunately, is pretty typical with Lafontaine. I’ve had 3 different cars with Lafontaine (Toyota, Kia, and GMC) and Kia has offered the best service. Not sure I’ll bring my GMC back here for service.

The service for my Canyon was excellent. The billing portion left a very bad taste in my mouth . You charge a 3% fee to use a credit card but do not accept checks, on a bill of almost $3k that adds close to $100 to the bill. With simply bury the fist in your proving or forget the 3% But don’t tell me it’s one price term charge me another unless I use your limited acceptable payment.

It took way longer than it should have to diagnose a check engine light, the cost to replace the thermostat is ridiculous, needing to replace a thermostat at less than 80k miles is ridiculous, and the fact this issue has been present since a few days after purchasing this vehicle is ridiculous. We even reached out when the light first came on to our salesman and spoke to the service department. I was told there would be assistance when we did the repair but the shop said the code was stored and not current and chalked the steering assist/thermostat issue up to driving in a puddle. Then when we finally had time and the code was present we were told they'd do nothing for us.

Played phone tag with service department, my service rep did everything he could but it was clear they were busy with not enough help. Had no loaners available so i had to call off work 2 days. Played phone tag, received no video indicating the actual repairs that justify service pricing for maintenance. 2 seized calipers in 1 year with no service on both rear brakes without any warning. Other than that I am happy my vehicle is running again but it was clear the service department was short, aswell ad mechanic service video of damages not being done whatsoever.

Greeting is good, new write up person being trained, that was ok, many questions about the details of the service were not well answered... just kept reiterating "GM highly suggests it" . Servive Includes full vehicle inspection and then they charged an additional $175 during that inpection to say my brake pads were low.. suddenly low because the monitor just turned on ??? I felt some what disregarded as if I didn't know what I was talking about in discussions withe write up folks. Ps I'm a mechanical engineer specializing in automotive quality development and mfg. It truly felt like a lot of " upsell".

My car sat at the dealership for 24 hours before any mechanic looked at it. It turned out that my "check engine light" came on because my transmission fluid was 2 QUARTS LOW. There was no leak! I am astonished that evidently no one ever checked the transmission fluid or topped it up when I got my oil changed.

I was completely confused that our free oil change would result in a bill over 500.00. My car only has a bit over 4,000 miles on it. I understand that you don't cover the replacement of my tire, but was more than shocked and puzzled how a new vehicle could possible need an interior air filter replaced and a battery kit? My husband owns a 7 yr old truck and at his last oil change they said it needed a new interior air filter which we had installed- how could a relatively new car need one when his truck that travels the same exact roads went 7 yrs before requiring a replacement? We did not get these issues addressed. Is this what I can expect from my new buick each time I get an oil change? These other issues have nothing to do with service but found them equally as strange- one of your female employees was apply deodorant in the middle of the show room...... we were both shocked since the rest room was only a few feet away - and perhaps it is not your policy but previous dealerships that we have had service returned our vehicles washed after maintenance.

I had a recall that was started but couldn't be finished due to a backorder, so I drove the car for 6 weeks with a missing molding by the grill. Very frustrating but it happens. My $0.02 is that they should've had enough parts on hand to handle the volume of the recall. My advisor was excellent and the work was done on time and professionally. The payment experience left an awful taste in my mouth and as such I'll be looking for opportunities to have repairs done elsewhere when possible. My bill was $2,870.25 and I was told when paying that a 3% charge would be added if I used a credit card. I oferred a personal check and they said "No, we don't accept personal checks". Are you kidding me? You want me to walk in with $3K in cash? You want your service department handling that amount of cash? Unacceptable.

1. The bill was higher than expected. 2. The 3% surcharge for using a credit card was not stated in the email message in which I received the bill. That came as a shock! They wouldn't accept a personal check - another shock! I had to walk to the UM credit union (luckily located down the street) to get a cashier's check. I was not happy! I did apologize to the cashier for revealing my annoyance; it wasn't her fault.

The experience with Aaron was 5 star all the way. He was knowledgeable and worked hard to find the truck I was looking for. The internet folks not so much. I’d give 0 stars for them. Honestly the worst experience/customer service I have ever experienced. They told me that had a specific vehicle I inquired about on the lot and confirmed the appointment for the next day. I show up and they did not have the car and never did have it on the lot. They let me drive 1hour to see the auto that doesn’t exist. Horrible sales tactic…my business would die on the vine if I used this type of horrible tactics. Honestly shameful experience.

I purchased a new 2026 GMC Terrain on October 30, 2025. Just a few days later, on November 3, I noticed an oil leak, which worsened significantly the following day—leaving oil all over my driveway. I contacted my sales representative and was scheduled to bring the vehicle in the next day. The dealership is nearly 40 minutes from my home, and I made the trip as instructed. Upon arrival, the service technician opened the hood to find oil everywhere. Fortunately, the service department did a thorough job diagnosing and resolving the issue. However, I’m disappointed by the lack of consideration for the inconvenience. I spent nearly three hours traveling back and forth for a problem that was entirely out of my control, yet received no compensation or acknowledgment. This experience felt like a miss in customer service, especially given the circumstances and the timing of the issue on a brand-new vehicle
