The third-generation Buick Enclave kicks off with the 2025 model year, introducing lots of new standard features and upgraded performance and technology. All of this is elevated by the top-of-the-line Avenir trim, which brings even more luxury appeal to this three-row SUV. If you’re thinking about shopping for a Buick Enclave for sale with the Avenir trim in mind, you might be wondering what’s new for the model year, as well as how much value you are getting out of it.
We want to take a moment to cover the basics of this revamped model’s performance, safety, technology, and what’s new for the model year. We will also discuss updates and improvements to its Avenir trim—this way, if you’re considering getting one, you’ll have all the information you need to make an informed purchase of your next luxury SUV.
What’s New for the Enclave Avenir?
There is a lot to love about the new 2025 Enclave Avenir, such as the all-new infotainment stack featuring a 30-inch premium ultra-wide HD touchscreen. It’s standard across the trim lineup, not only the Avenir. The Enclave can also now be equipped with the available Super Cruise tool, making it the first Buick to get this hands-free, semi-autonomous driving feature; this gives the Avenir an added sense of convenience as you travel to your destinations, with the vehicle doing most of the hard work.
Visually, the exterior has been overhauled in many different ways, including making use of Buick’s new design language, which was originally introduced with the Buick Wildcat EV concept car. As a result, trims like the Avenir now feature a completely redesigned fascia, including narrower headlights, the Buick emblem now being on the front lower part of the hood rather than on the grille, and a clean mesh grille shape with chrome surround leading to the side inlets. A sporty bumper with a grilled air dam helps round out the bold new fascia for the third-gen Enclave.
Another big change for the new generation is that all trims come standard with a new powertrain: a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder that makes 328 hp and 326 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and capable of towing up to 5,000 lbs. That’s nearly 5% more horsepower and approximately 18% more torque than the Enclave’s outgoing V6. Not only that, but the 4-cylinder provides better fuel economy at 20 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway in front-wheel drive, and 19 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway in all-wheel drive, which are slightly better figures than the outgoing V6.

Exclusive Features for the Avenir Trim
There are specific features exclusive to the Avenir that you don’t get with the other trims, including the 22-inch Avenir Pearl Nickel alloy wheels tucked into all-season blackwall tires. You also have rain-sensing wipers, a panoramic sunroof, and an illuminated walk-up animation when you approach the vehicle. The other exclusive features include the 16-speaker Bose Performance Series surround sound audio setup, which is perfect for streaming your favorite playlists through the infotainment system.
The Avenir also has standard power heated and ventilated front seats with massage capability, as well as heated outboard second-row seats. Another big feature is the continuous damping control for the chassis with enhanced electronically controlled damping for all four wheels; these suspension refinements give the Avenir a smooth presence on the road, ensuring you don’t feel bumps or uneven transitions while traveling. Finally, the Avenir comes standard with the Power Package, which includes one-touch power-folding third-row seats and a head-up display.
Performance and Safety Features
Beyond the new turbocharged 4-cylinder and dynamic damping for the suspension, the 2025 Enclave Avenir also comes standard with a brake wear indicator, electronic traction control, and electronic transmission range selection. You have automatic engine start-stop functionality with override controls, as well as StabiliTrak for electronic stability management and traction control.
The Avenir also comes with a litany of standard safety features, too, including enhanced automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection, side bicyclist alert, and lane-keeping assistance with lane departure warnings. All new safety features made standard for 2025 include blind zone steering assistance, traffic sign recognition, and intersection automatic emergency braking; this is in addition to an automatic occupant sensing display, buckle-to-drive functionality, driver attention assistance, following distance indicator, and forward collision alert. You also have features like HD Surround Vision so you can get a clear view of the Enclave Avenir when parking or pulling out, as well as rear parking assistance with rear pedestrian alert and reverse automatic braking.
Features like the rear seat reminder, safety alert seat, and three-point driver and front passenger seat belts are passive safety to the Enclave. For families, features like the LATCH system’s lower anchors and tethers are very useful, as are features like OnStar services and its connected navigation and emergency response support. Of course, the 2025 Enclave Avenir wouldn’t be complete without the inclusion of Teen Driver mode, which is useful if you want enforced safety limits on your young driver and a report card for their after-drive reviewing.

Technology and Convenience Features
Accompanying the standard performance and safety features is a suite of tech features that includes a head-up display and an all-new center console with a segment-defining 30-inch combined digital driver display and media touchscreen. You can customize the digital cluster for telemetry, travel information, and vehicle health, and you can use the touchscreen to engage apps, change playlists, get navigation, and use the integrated wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features. You also have Google Built-In with digital assistant functionality and voice recognition, as well as a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot.
You get static and dynamic ambient interior lighting for the Avenir, as well as SiriusXM. Front and rear USB ports are available for charging devices, along with a standard wireless charging pad for smartphones. Memory settings accompany the driver’s power-massaging front seat, which is clad in perforated leather, and you can have the interior upholstered in either Sky Cool Gray with Ebony or Slate Blue with Cool Gray. In the rear, the AutoSense power tailgate makes it easy to access the cargo area just by approaching it!
Power-folding outside mirrors come standard, along with an Avenir badge on the exterior, so everyone knows what kind of Buick Enclave you’re driving. Additionally, the Avenir is available in six distinct exterior colors for the 2025 model year: White Frost Tricoat, Ebony Twilight Metallic, Cherry Red Tintcoat, Moonstone Gray Metallic, Smokey Amethyst Metallic, or Ocean Blue Metallic.
